Special Events Vendors

Terms & Conditions

  • All persons responsible for the serving or handling of alcohol for a vendor table before, during or after the event must comply with all provincial legal certification requirements and laws. You must have valid ProServe to pour alcohol and you must have proof on you at all times during the event to show to Alberta Gaming Liquor Cannabis (AGLC). This will be checked at the entry prior to entering zoo grounds.
  • All vendors must provide their liquor purchase agreement information (proving the value of your product for AGLC). This information will be collected at check in to the catering team members. Vendors without this information will not be granted access to zoo grounds.
  • Vendors are required to follow the sample sizes approved as per AGLC (Beer, Ciders, Coolers, and Premixed – 4 oz, Wine – 2 oz., Spirits & Liqueurs – 1 oz).
  • All vendors must bring compostable cups for a tasting event for 1500 guests. The Wilder Institute/Calgary Zoo will provide small beer steins to guests for sampling, however we ask that you bring compostable cups as well.
  • Electric carts or trolleys will not be available for transport. Vendors are responsible for bringing their own trolleys/wagons etc to transport their supplies from the entry location to their designated spot.
  • Vendors (including musicians) are not permitted to partake in event food and beverage. Vendors are welcome to bring their own food onsite as Concessions venues will be closed during the event.
  • At least one representative must remain at the table all times during set up, tear down, and throughout the event.
  • ALL representatives attending the event must read and sign the Contractor Briefing and Waiver of Liability to be granted access to the event – please bring in person at time of event.
  • No refunds for any vendors that register for the event.
