Better Safe Than Sorry

The zoo has 24-hour services for lost children. Please call (403) 232-9341 or visit our security office, which is south of the Conservatory, just off 12th Street SE. If you are able, please stay at your location and Security will come to you.

Sanitary Practices

The best way to avoid colds and illnesses is frequent hand washing and the use of hand sanitizers. The Calgary Zoo has installed hand sanitizers in a number of locations, as well as hand-washing instructions in all washrooms. The Calgary Zoo asks all visitors to refrain from visiting the zoo while sick.
