Rise, shine, dine, and meet our penguins!
Start your day with a delicious buffet breakfast featuring fresh fruit, pancakes, and more before learning all about penguins. This brr-illiant presentation is followed by exclusive early access to our Penguin Plunge habitat!
This special event includes an exclusive viewing of Penguin Plunge, where you’ll get up close with our incredible penguins and learn fascinating facts from our Conservation Education staff, volunteers and Animal Care Technicians. Discover what makes these tuxedoed birds so amazing as you watch their morning routine, including feeding time. Plus, hear all the latest penguin updates in this fun, family-friendly experience.

Where: Grazers Restaurant
Time: 7:30 a.m. – 9:30 a.m.
Schedule:
- 7:15 a.m. – Guests may begin arriving and proceed to Grazers Restaurant
- 7:30 a.m. – Breakfast begins
- 8:00 a.m. – The penguin interpretive talk begins
- 8:45 a.m. – Guests proceed to Penguin Plunge for their exclusive visit
- 9:00 a.m. – Guests have exclusive access to Penguin Plunge
- 9:30 a.m. – Experience ends
Ticket Price:
General (16+): $79.00 +GST
Child (3-15): $61.00 + GST
Infants (2 and under) are free but do require a ticket.
Additional Booking Information:
- Ticket includes: Admission to the zoo, a full hot breakfast, penguin interpretive talk, and exclusive viewing of penguins in Penguin Plunge.
- Please note that our menu items marked as GF are gluten-friendly as we are not a gluten-free facility.
- This is a family-friendly experience. Tickets for children 2 and under are free but require a ticket.
- Parking is $13 and is not included. Wild Journey members receive free parking.
- Bad Weather: The tour portion of this experience will take place outdoors – it goes ahead regardless of snow, rain, or shine; there are no cancellations or postponements.
