Bite-Sized
By golly, it’s ‘Ollie’! That’s right! A familiar face (and a couple of humps) has returned to zoo grounds.
Our male Bactrian camel has spent the last four months residing at our offsite Wildlife Conservation Centre while he received treatment (along with an extra dose of ‘TLC’ ) for some skin lesions. We’re thrilled to share that Ollie is back and has rejoined his habitat mate, female Bactrian camel ‘Zsa Zsa’. As Ollie still has some healing to do, our Animal Care, Health & Welfare team will be keeping a watchful eye on his recovery.
You can find our camel caravan in their Exploration Asia habitat on your next zoo visit.
