Meet ‘Siku’
Bring your family and friends down for a fun and educational morning at the zoo! Admission to this event includes an exclusive before-hours viewing opportunity of our Wild Canada zone with a side of polar bear facts from our Conservation Education staff and our volunteers. This is a wonderful opportunity to learn more about polar bears, what makes them so wonderful, why they are endangered, and of course, get a chance to see ‘Siku’ during his morning routine. You’ll get to hear all the up-to-date polar bear news at this event for all ages.
Afterwards, guests will move on to a delicious buffet breakfast with fresh fruit, pancakes, and more. Your ticket includes admission to the zoo.

Schedule:
- 7:45 a.m. – Guests may begin arriving and proceed to Wild Canada entrance
- 8:00 a.m. – Guests enter Wild Canada zone
- 8:30 a.m. – Exclusive viewing of ‘Siku’ begins
- 9:30 a.m. – Breakfast begins at Kitamba Café
- 10:30 a.m. – Breakfast buffet closes
- 11:00 a.m. – Breakfast ends

Infants (2 and under) are free but do require a ticket.

Additional Booking Information:
- Ticket includes: Admission to the zoo, a full hot breakfast, polar bear interpretive talk and exclusive before-hours viewing of polar bear habitat.
- Please note that our menu items marked as GF are gluten-friendly as we are not a gluten-free facility.
- This is a family-friendly experience. Tickets for children 2 and under are free but require a ticket.
- Parking is $13 and is not included. Registered Wild Journey members receive free parking if they have successfully registered with ParkPlus.
- Bad Weather: The tour portion of this experience will take place outdoors – it goes ahead regardless of snow, rain, or shine; and there are no cancellations or postponements.
- The outdoor experience is intended to last roughly 90 minutes (8 – 9:30am). Guests should dress appropriately for the weather conditions on the day of the event.
- Wild Adventurer members receive a 10% discount. Members can access their discount by logging into your membership account. If you are unsure of your membership login DO NOT create your own login, please email TicketandMembership@calgaryzoo.com for assistance.
- Wild Explorer members will receive a 10% discount for April and May event dates.
