Land of Lemurs Walkthrough & Outdoor Gorilla Amphitheatre: The two outdoor animal viewing areas are closed for the season. Lemurs and gorillas will be viewable in their indoor habitats.
African Savannah Yard: Our Hartmann’s mountain zebras and ostriches are off-view while we complete exciting upgrades in the African Savannah Yard, including the construction of a new Savannah Barn for the animals. Our giraffe tower will continue to be viewable throughout the project.

Family-Friendly
Bring your family and friends down for a fun and educational morning at the zoo! Admission to this event includes an exclusive before-hours viewing opportunity of our Wild Canada zone with a side of polar bear facts from our Conservation Education staff and our volunteers. This is a wonderful opportunity to learn more about polar bears, what makes them so wonderful, why they are endangered, and of course, get a chance to see ‘Siku’ during his morning routine. You’ll get to hear all the up-to-date polar bear news at this event for all ages.
Afterwards, guests will move on to a delicious buffet breakfast with fresh fruit, pancakes, and more. Your ticket includes admission to the zoo.
