Snow Globes
Make this year’s ZOOLIGHTS, presented by Olympia Trust Company, extra magical with a Snow Globe experience! Make festive memories in a private oasis surrounded by twinkling lights that will make any date night, friends’ night out, family celebration, or special occasion sparkle. Your reservation includes admission to ZOOLIGHTS along with the rental of a Snow Globe and your chosen food and beverage package.
Rentals are available for 2 to 6 people, and you can enjoy your Snow Globe for 1.5 hours. Our cozy Snow Globes are comfortably furnished and come equipped with a heater. You’ll even have a dedicated staff member to assist with food and beverage delivery!

‘Tis the Season to Sparkle
Plan Your Snow Globe Experience
TICKET INCLUDES: Admission to ZOOLIGHTS, and the rental of your Snow Globe with your choice of theme package.
PRICE: $180 per Snow Globe + additional fee per person based on theme package chosen
- Enchanted Winter Feast: $110 per person
- Decadent Holiday Package: $60 per person
- Cozy Cookie Package: $40 per person
WHERE: The Aurora Gardens, in Dorothy Harvie Gardens
TIME: Choose from two time slots: 5:30 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. or 7:30 p.m. – 9:00 p.m.
WHEN: Available on select dates during ZOOLIGHTS*, from November 15, 2024, to January 5, 2025.
*Some exclusions apply – only the dates that the Snow Globes are available on will show on the booking calendar.
EXCLUDING: The following dates are excluded:
- December 25: The Wilder Institute/Calgary Zoo is closed.
- December 31: Zoo Year’s Eve – this evening requires a separate ticket*

Enchanted Winter Feast
Enjoy a delicious four-course meal in your own private ZOOLIGHTS hideaway. Choose between a regular or vegetarian menu to indulge in while you spend time with friends and family amidst the holiday magic of “Aurora Gardens”.

Decadent Holiday Package
- Mulled wine
- Charcuterie board with condiments and pickles
- Artisan cheese board with crackers and fruits
- Miniature fancy Christmas cookies
- A vegetarian menu option* is available for the Decadent Holiday Package

Additional Booking Information
- ZOOLIGHTS opens 5:00 p.m.
- Enjoy a stroll through the park to enjoy ZOOLIGHTS before or after your chosen Snow Globe time.
- Snow Globe experiences takes place snow or shine. Tickets are non-refundable.
- In rare circumstances, ZOOLIGHTS can be cancelled (ex. extreme weather) – we will contact you to re-book your experience for a different date if this happens.
- Snow Globes can be enjoyed by all ages. IDs will be checked for members of your party being served alcohol.
- Although each Snow Globe has a heater, please dress for the weather. This will allow you to enjoy the rest of ZOOLIGHTS comfortably and stay warm for your Snow Globe experience.
- Enchanted Winter Feast, Cozy Cookie, and Decadent Holiday packages must be all booked a minimum of 48 hours in advance.
TICKETS ARE NOT SOLD ONSITE and MUST BE PURCHASED ONLINE IN ADVANCE.
