Land of Lemurs Walkthrough & Outdoor Gorilla Amphitheatre: The two outdoor animal viewing areas will close for the season beginning on October 15. Lemurs and gorillas will be viewable in their indoor habitats.
African Savannah Yard: Our Hartmann’s mountain zebras and ostriches will be off-view until the end of the year while we complete exciting upgrades in the African Savannah Yard, including the construction of a new Savannah Barn for the animals. Our giraffe tower will continue to be viewable throughout the project.

Celebrate Zoo Year’s Eve: Family Night, presented by Orange Frog, with the best and brightest backdrop in the city.
You’ll be able to enjoy all the fun of ZOOLIGHTS, presented by Olympia Trust Company, with extra special activities added to help you ring in the New Year – including numerous countdowns and a Zoo Year’s Eve light show so your little ones don’t have to stay up too late to partake in the fun! It’s a festive way to help you and your loved ones ring in the new year while supporting the Wilder Institute/Calgary Zoo’s wildlife conservation efforts. Zoo concessions will be open for food and beverage purchases.

Last entry will be at 8:00 p.m. Grounds will be cleared starting at 9:00 p.m.
