Eastern Black-and-White Colobus Monkeys
This mantle was made for flying
Eastern black-and-white colobus monkeys are known for the long white hairs on their backs that make up a mantle. Along with their bushy white tails, these features help these monkeys swing through their forest homes, with the tail acting somewhat like a parachute to aid in balance and control during acrobatic swings through the forest canopy. With long limbs and their lightweight bodies, this species is perfectly adapted for life in the trees.
